3B spent some time this week thinking and writing about things for which we are thankful. We really are a lucky class and we have many blessings.

Hailey: There are many things I am thankful for this year. I am thankful for my family because some people do not have a family. I am thankful to God and Jesus, and Mary, and Joseph. I am happy and I am thankful for my sisters. I am thankful for our soldiers, who are helping us by risking your life for us. Thank you. I am thankful for my mom and dad, my cousins, and my whole family.

Ben: There are many things I am thankful for this year. I am thankful for Jesus and my family. My family loves me and we go places together. I am thankful that God gave me life. I am thankful for being able to go to school. And I am also thankful for my friends because they play with me.

Jensen: I am thankful for many things like my sister, who bugs me, and my parents who love me. Also, for my grandparents, who let us stay in their condo. I am thankful for water and food because I can't live without food and water. I am thankful for friends because they care for me. I am thankful for my house for keeping me warm, and school so I can learn. I am also thankful for animals because of the food chain. Those are most of the things I am thankful for.

Nicholas: I am thankful for many things. I'm thankful for my home. My home hugs me safe during a storm. Also for freedom because freedom keeps me free from evil. I am thankful for food. Food keeps me from being hungry. I am also thankful for my mom and dad, because they keep me healthy and safe.

Christopher: I am thankful for lots of things. I am most thankful for my family. Everyone in my family loves me. The thing I am second most thankful for is my house because some people don't have a house. Another thing is food. People need food so I am thankful for it. The last thing I'm thankful for is my friends. These are just a few of the things I am thankful for.

Naomi: I am a really lucky and thankful person. I'm lucky and thankful because I have a house to live in, toys I can play with, and I have a cute little dog named Tanner to keep me company. I also have loving friends who share their food with me if I don't have any. Other people might not have a loving family or a house or food. So the least we can do is give a little bit of our money or food, or even just a simple crayon and paper. I hope that I've helped you to understand that the world isn't all about you, you, you. It's also about others and how we can make their lives better. We also should be happy for what we have. So stop counting what you don't have, and start counting what you DO have!

Jarred: I am thankful for my family because they do so much for me, and they love me too. My younger sister is always nice to me, even when we fight. I do not see my Dad every day because he works in New Jersey, but I still get to see him, so I am thankful for that too. I am thankful that I live in a safe home with my parents who love me.

Julia: I would love to share what I'm thankful for. I'm really thankful for a house and my family. I love that they are living with me. Also, I'm thankful for food in my house and that we can afford to buy food at the store. I'm also thankful for a bed, clothes, and lights to light the house, plus closets that can hold my clothes. You see, there are a lot of things you can be thankful for, like clothes, food and beds. It's easy to think of things like that. But I'm thankful for a teacher who teaches me, like Mrs. Cavada. I'm so thankful for my dad who went to Iraq, and I'm thankful to my mom for giving me life.
