Last Post for the Year

I hope you are all enjoying the start of summer vacation. I have been busy getting things done that I didn't have time to do during the school year. I already miss everyone though, and I can't believe how fast this year went. These are pictures from the last month of school. I hope you enjoy looking at them, and I know you will all enjoy a restful summer. See you in September!

We started May with a procession to Mary. The entire school said the rosary together, and then we moved outside (singing), where Father Brommer closed the service with a blessing. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful ceremony.

Next, came our recorder concert. As you know, the third graders had been practicing playing the recorder since February, so it was nice to finally hear them all play together.

Surprise! There was dancing!!

And the Bunny Hop!!

In the middle of May, we had our class party at Koser Park. I tried to get at least one picture of everyone, but I apologize if I missed anyone. It's hard to keep track of 24 kids when they're running all over the place!

In June, we went on our field trip to Chocolate World and the Hershey Story Museum. It was a wonderful field trip. The museum was excellent and had a lot of interactive displays that the kids really enjoyed. And as usual, everyone was on their best behavior.

We were separated into groups, so I wasn't able to get pictures of anyone but my group.

Oh wait . . . there was one group shot . . .

It was hairnets and aprons for all in the chocolate lab. Aren't we gorgeous???

And finally, we took a trip to Rakestraw's for some ice cream after a hot and sweaty Field Day.

Once again, we were blessed with beautiful weather and excellent behavior.

GOOD-BYE THIRD GRADE, HELLO FOURTH GRADE!!
